Kaka signs for Real Madrid

Kaka has for Real Madrid to AC Milan in a 65-million-euro deal, Spanish radio station Cadena Ser reported on Tuesday. Newly installed Real president Florentino Perez sealed the transaction with the AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani Leite and Bosco, father and representatives of the World and European Championships 2007 Players of the Year, told Cadena Ser. Kaka, currently in Brazil with the national team before World Cup qualifying game against Uruguay, will be for five years and a salary worth nine million euros per year, it added.

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has hinted at the 27-year-old Kaka leaving Cadena Ser moments before had claimed he was indeed moving. "I do not know if we can keep Kaka in Milan, because they (Real) have offered him so much money," Berlusconi was quoted as saying by the Italian press agency Ansa. It is on the same day as Kaka - who was courted by English Premiership side Manchester City in January - told La Gazzetto dello Sport, he had no intention of smoking Milan.

"I tell you the last time, the last. I do not want to leave Milan. Among the millions of Milan fans, I say unto you, I have my choice. I said, I want to stay. Leave me alone, please "Kaka told La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper. "I would like to continue with Milan to win. And now, all discussions are over." If officially confirmed his transfer will be a day after Milan lost their coach Carlo Ancelotti to take over as manager of the English FA Cup winners Chelsea. It was hoped that their connection with Milan Kaka would also like this move, but the hopes seem to have been disappointed.
